What Is the Seed of 6b6t?

6b6t's seed is -4172144997902289642. It is the same number as 2b2t's original seed, but the two worlds are very different, and 2b2t has hidden its current seed since August 2023.

What Is a Seed?

A seed is the number Minecraft uses to generate a world. The same seed on the same Minecraft version always makes the same terrain. That is what makes a server's seed useful: you can explore its world in single player before you travel there.

Is 6b6t's Seed the Same as 2b2t's?

The number is the same. The worlds are not. 6b6t opened on 16 January 2022 on Minecraft 1.12.2, using the seed 2b2t had used for most of its history. Since then, players on both servers have spent years building and griefing, and both servers have moved to newer Minecraft versions, which changes how new land generates. 6b6t updated to 1.19 on 10 December 2022, eight months before 2b2t did.

2b2t's current seed is not public. On 14 August 2023, 2b2t switched to a modified terrain generator to hide its seed.

What Can You Do With 6b6t's Seed?

Make a single player world with the seed and look for a spot for your base. Choose somewhere far from anywhere players have been. Land that nobody has loaded yet will generate from the seed when you get there, so it should match what you found in single player. The closer your single player version is to the server's, the closer the match.

Do not expect spawn to match. More than four years of building and griefing have replaced the terrain the seed made there, so the first job is to get away from spawn.

Some players fix spawn instead of leaving it. Iliyasss repaired and built roads across the 1,000 by 1,000 block spawn area alone:
