Coachella on an Anarchy Server: Inside 6b6t's CosmoWorld
CosmoWorld is a three-night noteblock festival that the clan Cosmical held on 6b6t in September 2026. Six stages, 70 to 90 players and some griefers, told by the players who were there.
CosmoWorld is a three-night music festival inside Minecraft. It took place on 6b6t, a Minecraft server with no rules, from 11 to 13 September 2026. A group of players called Cosmical ran it. About 10 builders spent a month on six stages, and 70 to 90 players came to hear songs played on note blocks. On night 2, one stage was griefed 25 minutes after it started. Griefers are players who wreck other people's builds on purpose. The festival went on.
lukus, who started CosmoWorld, made this 2-minute video and posted it on 25 September 2026. The music was added later. It is not the sound from the event.
What Is CosmoWorld?
A festival that players run themselves, with music, minigames and fights. lukus (in-game name Lukus1110) started it, and he puts it like this:
"CosmoWorld is a Community-Hosted event, where players can hangout, play minigames, pvp, or listen to the songs played through noteblocks. Think of it as a big Coachella-type event, but recreated on Minecraft."
lukus
Coachella is a famous music festival held every April in the California desert. Artists play on several stages at the same time, and fans walk between them over a few days. CosmoWorld borrows the many-stages idea, but its stages ran one after another: six stages over three nights, and the crowd usually moved on after about an hour.
It all happens on 6b6t, a Minecraft anarchy server. An anarchy server has no gameplay rules: any player can break, burn or blow up anything, and the server protects no builds. 6b6t has been open since January 2022.
Cosmical is one of 6b6t's clans. Its tag is COSM, and its Discord server had 1,858 members on 7 October 2026.

Who Started CosmoWorld, and Why?
lukus started it, and he founded Cosmical too. He runs it with bobu2032, Gabriele_033, raincoates and loyistplays. lukus says he started playing on 6b6t in July 2025, when his friend bobu2032 brought him.
The idea came one night while he was messaging raincoates, a 6b6t YouTuber, on Discord:
"the idea just popped in my mind, so we started working on the first CosmoWorld poster."
lukus
He started it because the concerts he had seen were boring and did not last long:
"most of the noteblocks concerts at the time were just noteblocks platforms with no fun and they were getting griefed too quickly, and CosmoWorld really changed how people see noteblocks events."
lukus
The name joins Cosmical with AstroWorld, the 2018 album by the rapper Travis Scott. lukus was listening to a lot of his music at the time. The first CosmoWorld (Season 1) opened on 3 October 2025. Season 2 ran from 30 January to 1 February 2026. Season 3, called the Grand Finale, ran from 11 to 13 September 2026.
raincoates remembers how players reacted to the first one:
"I thought it was a good idea, and so did lots of new players, but generally older and cynical players wanted to grief it because they hated a newer group getting any attention. That sentiment has persisted until today."
raincoates
How Does a Noteblock Concert Work?
With note blocks and a song file. A note block is a Minecraft block that plays one musical note when it is hit. Put enough of them together and they can play a whole song. lukus explains how Cosmical plays it:
"A noteblock concert is possible through a noteblocks booth, which is made with different blocks and noteblocks. We play music using a cheat called "notebot" which lets you play automatically songs through .nbt files. Players simply hear it by keeping the minecraft sounds on."
lukus
In plain words: a cheat client, a hacked version of Minecraft, hits the note blocks in the right order from a song file, and everyone nearby hears the song. On 6b6t, cheats like this are allowed.
Sometimes the stage needed fixing before the music could start. LegitCarStar, who went to all three nights, remembers this:
"At one of the stages, the note block stage was griefed quite quickly. I was able to repair it and then begin playing at the concert with a crowd watching."
LegitCarStar

Can You Protect a Build on an Anarchy Server?
No. On 6b6t, nothing stops a player from breaking a build. So Cosmical controlled who could reach the stages instead.
6b6t's world is huge, so players get to a stage by teleporting. They use /tpa, a command that asks another player to teleport you to them. The other player has to accept.
PollyNeedCrack, the owner of the clan Tesseract, suggested a group system. Before the festival, players joined a CosmoWorld Discord server and typed their in-game names. Cosmical's staff then sorted them into 5 groups.
Group 1 was for trusted players only, and they were teleported in at the start. Group 5 was for ex-griefers and players nobody knew, and they came 30 to 40 minutes later. Groups 2 to 4 came in between. When a group's turn came, lukus accepted their teleport requests one by one. He says it worked:
"We managed to tp all 5 groups (70-90 people) to almost every stage, and griefers only managed to grief a couple of them after a long time (30m-1h)."
lukus
Emerald Town on night 2 went faster. Why build stages that anyone could destroy? lukus says:
"We still decided to build stages because the event was already planned, and we didn't want to "betray" the community like that, and thanks to the new group system, griefing was hard."
lukus
What Happened at CosmoWorld Season 3?
Three nights of music on six stages, and griefers on night 2. Each night moved through its stages in this order:
| Night | Start (CEST) | Stages |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | 11 Sep, 20:00 | Orange Oasis Kyr0land |
| 2 | 12 Sep, 21:15 | End Stage Cosmical Arena Emerald Town |
| 3 | 13 Sep, 21:00 | Imperial Atrium |
Night 1: Orange Oasis and Kyr0land
Night 1 started at Orange Oasis, the stage Lukus1110 and bobu2032 built.

Then the crowd moved to Kyr0land, a giant statue of Kyr0Zen in the sea. Kyr0Zen is a 6b6t player, and he also made the CosmoWorld logo.

Kyr0Zen knew about the statue before the festival, and he asked for one thing to be added:
"I was actually told beforehand that a statue of me was being built for one of the stages, and that's when I asked for a rollercoaster to be added- worth it because that was my favourite part of Cosmoworld"
Kyr0Zen
seetbelt played noteblocks on this stage, the last one of night 1.

Night 2: End Stage, Cosmical Arena and Emerald Town
Night 2 had three stages. Songs that night included Heartless and Follow God by Kanye West, and Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen. seetbelt played Mr Brightside, Fireflies and The Final Countdown. lukus says it was his favourite night:
"The best night of CosmoWorld Season 3 was the second one, a lot of players showed up and we used 3 different locations. I didn't knew most of the players, but they still respected the event and decided to not grief it, i really appreciated that."
lukus
Most of them did. The trouble came at the last stage.
The night started at the End Stage. Fulgur, a player lukus has invited to this season and past ones, remembers a joke from that night:
"Me trying to convince my friend mx to not blow it up, to which he responded he would not do so for atleast another 5 minutes. Then we proceeded to frame Hastur for it by giving him TNT and sending screenshots of him holding that TNT"
Fulgur
Hastur is a moderator on the 6b6t Discord, so blaming him was the joke.

The End Stage also had a backrooms maze. The backrooms is an internet horror idea about endless empty yellow rooms. mx, Fulgur's friend from the TNT story, called it the best part:
"my best guess is the backrooms maze on night 2 in the end, it was so much fun"
mx
Next came the Cosmical Arena, a stage floating high in the sky. CirnoDih built it.

The last stage was Emerald Town, a city of green buildings under a giant CosmoWorld sign. Volizray built it, and fast:
"Emerald town was something I designed and built on the day of the event in a crazyy rush, starting just 6 hours before the event began!"
Volizray
Emerald Town was griefed 25 minutes after it started. In plain steps, this is what lukus says happened:
- A player they had invited flew away from the stage.
- While the team was distracted, he teleported a griefer in.
- The griefer placed end crystals everywhere and teleported in another player.
- That player made a hotspot, so anyone on the server could teleport there.
End crystals are placed on obsidian and explode when they are hit. They are the main weapon on anarchy servers. Here is lukus's own account:
"One of the players that we invited to the event flew away from the stage, and meanwhile we were distracted he teleported a griefer that started placing crystals everywhere, then the griefer teleported another player, which created the hotspot. Some of us started fighting them, but most of the people just escaped."
lukus
Cosmical could not save the stage. Even so, lukus says they teleported 15 to 20 people there:
"sadly we couldn't do anything about it, since the griefers decided to hotspot it, we still managed to tp 15-20 people there."
lukus
Volizray, who built it, does not mind:
"Aww it doesn't matter how quickly it gets griefed~ I just hope people enjoyed the event and its builds while they lasted! The risk of these kinda events being griefed is what adds extra value to them! Every single second they last feels more special because of that~"
Volizray

DavidBavid, a 6b6t YouTuber, streamed night 2 live. Watch his night 2 stream on YouTube. It is just over an hour long.
Night 3: The Imperial Atrium
The last night had one stage, the Imperial Atrium. Imperials, another 6b6t clan, was CosmoWorld's partner for the season, and the stage carries its name.

Volizray designed it:
"The Imperial Atrium is a thingy I had a bit more time to design (starting 4 days before the event)~ but Imperials definitelyy did most of the building and added their logo in the sky to complete it ^-^"
Volizray
For seetbelt, it was the best stage of the festival:
"Sadly i wasnt there to help build the imperial atrium but it was my favorite stage by far"
seetbelt
DavidBavid streamed this night too. His night 3 stream shows CosmoWorld in the first 29 minutes.

What Did Players Think?
Most of the players we asked loved it. Two had complaints. The players who loved it talked about friends as much as the music:
"the moment i liked the most was the friends we made along the way i got to meet and see so many cool people"
seetbelt
"The music, the note block performances, and having almost every known player at one event made it a memorable experience."
LegitCarStar
"it's hilarious to hangout with 40+ players and being with my friends in VC watching the chaos unfold"
Fulgur
raincoates went to one night:
"Season 3 was fun but short. I missed 2 of the days, but the ones I did see were a good time. Just hanging out with people and listening to music."
raincoates
mx would go again because of the person behind it:
"Because Lukus is my pal and I love his events, he makes it fun"
mx

Capy says they were in one of the later groups and got there after the stage was griefed:
"I thought it was a good concept but i never got the experience the entirety of the event since i got put in a lower bracket which made it so i could only show up when it had been already griefed."
Capy
"I like the idea and some of the builds that were put in place. but i feel like it could use a lot more structure cause i felt entirely lost while i was there."
Capy
Capy also praised two things:
"The attendance was big and i feel like they did a proper job on the advertising leading up to the event."
Capy
Capy added that these answers come from vague memories of one night.
555clan, the account that answered for the clan 555, did not like it. It answered our three questions, what they thought, what they disliked and what went well, like this:
"I think it was pretty bad
I didnt like it because they copied 555
Yes the builds were pretty good looking"
555clan
Did Cosmical Copy 555?
555 says yes. Cosmical says no. 555 is another 6b6t clan. Both sides agree on two things: 555 held noteblock concerts before CosmoWorld, and lukus was a 555 member before he started Cosmical.
raincoates, who helps run Cosmical and helped advertise Seasons 2 and 3, remembers the start like this:
"Lukus was part of another group at the time named 555 who hosted noteblock concerts, but he wanted to make them bigger and more like a festival, so when he started his own group Cosmical, he hosted the first ever Cosmoworld."
raincoates
555clan says Cosmical is a splinter clan, a group that broke away from 555:
"Lukus (the owner of cosmical) was formerly a 555 clan member
Many of his members were also previously 555 members
he created cosmical as a splinter clan from 555 and decided to do a noteblock concert right after we did (and i admit, objectively a poor one)"
555clan
"i found this hypocritcal of him since we had fought alongside to attack clans that did things like copying our projects but brushed it aside"
555clan
555clan says the builds were good. About the organization, it says:
"the organization was about the same as ours"
555clan
They also object to how often Cosmical held concerts:
"but i feel like he did them nonstop doing more than 555 had over 3 years in just a few months"
555clan
lukus says that is wrong:
"Cosmical did not start as a 555 split. I was a 555 member and I decided to start my own clan alone, Cosmical is not related to 555"
lukus
He says the two kinds of concert are not the same. This is how he describes Cosmical's:
"big builds, a lot of people, people actually playing music, sometimes minigames are included in stages, and our events usually last days"
lukus
He went to 555's last noteblock concert in July 2025, and he describes it like this:
"People having an hard time playing music, not a lot of people, and the concert getting griefed after less than 10 minutes."
lukus
Fulgur, the player lukus invited, tells it the same way:
"Cosmical started out as a clan made by Lukus, Lukus alone"
Fulgur
"Noteblock concerts have existed on 6b6t way before the 555 did"
Fulgur
555clan has an answer to that:
"obviously with the word "copied" having a negative connotation he wouldnt admit that he copied them but everyone is aware that no other clans on 6b6t really did noteblock concerts until cosmical decided to do one right after 555 including himself"
555clan
Will There Be Another CosmoWorld?
Maybe. lukus says probably not:
"Probably there won't be CosmoWorld Season 4 because i don't want it to be too repetitive, since we already hosted 3 cosmoworlds, but if players really really want it, we might make it anyways."
lukus
raincoates is less sure it is over:
"I think there are plans for a season 4, but it all depends on how active Cosmical is."
raincoates
seetbelt is ready to help:
"id love for cosmoworld to happen again and ill definitly help out any way i can"
seetbelt
The stages are still on the map, though not all of them are whole:
"Some stages are more intact than others"
lukus
We are not sharing where they are, so nobody griefs them.
