Minecraft Banned 6b6t. We Will Never Shut Down. We Will Never Add Rules.
Minecraft blacklisted 6b6t but the server is not shutting down and it is not adding rules. We made sure 6b6t remains playable and less than 48 hours later after the blacklist, over 250 players are already online. Mojang cannot stop 6b6t.
On July 15, 2026, Minecraft blacklisted 6b6t. For most Minecraft servers this means a death sentence. A blacklist in Minecraft means that no players are able to connect to your server. The server gets simply shut down. We choose to fight back. 6b6t is not adding rules and it is not shutting down.
This is exactly why 2b2t added rules. On 2b2t players can no longer swear. They cannot build anything controversial. They cannot attempt to lag the server. Breaking these rules results in a ban or a mute. YouTubers FitMC and SalC1 covered this incident in detail, but in summary, 2b2t is no longer anarchy. 2b2t is dead.
6b6t always promised to be free to join by anyone and completely anarchy, free of rules and restrictions and censorship. No Rules. No Queue. No Lag. That's what 6b6t players heard thousands of times. That's the reason why 6b6t became the biggest anarchy server in the world after 2b2t added rules. It promised to remain anarchy.
We expected the ban to happen sooner or later, so we prepared for it. Less than 48 hours later since the Minecraft ban of 6b6t took place, the server already has over 250 players online and the community chose to fight back with us. We will not shut down 6b6t. We will not add rules. 6b6t will remain fully anarchy and Mojang cannot do anything about it.

What Happened
On July 15, 2026, Minecraft added 6b6t’s main address "6b6t.org" to the official server blacklist.
This does not mean the physical server went offline. The map did not reset. The map and player data are hosted on the servers of 6b6t. When you join any Minecraft server, you first go through official Minecraft authentication servers, which now block the connection to 6b6t before you can join.
A few months earlier, 2b2t, Purity Vanilla and OldFrog were forced to add restrictions or would get permanently blacklisted. These servers became no longer anarchy.
SalC1 covered how Mojang/Microsoft forced 2b2t to add new rules before 6b6t was blacklisted.
Will 6b6t Add Rules?
No.
6b6t will never add gameplay rules.
Not for Microsoft. Not for Mojang. Not for anyone.
The whole point of 6b6t is that it is an anarchy server. Players can build, destroy, fight, grief, make bases, betray each other, swear, be controversial and do whatever they want. There is no normal moderation.
If we added rules, 6b6t would stop being 6b6t. It would become another ordinary Minecraft SMP with a big map and no identity.
That will not happen.
2b2t might be an old server, but it is not an anarchy server anymore. Moderating and punishing players for anything even slightly controversial or swearing is not anarchy.

Is 6b6t shutting down?
No.
We knew Minecraft might ban 6b6t, so we prepared for it. We created AnarchyMod, an open source Fabric mod which allows you to join 6b6t regardless of the Mojang ban. It completely bypasses this ban. You can install the mod and start playing 6b6t in seconds. You only have to do it once. That's how we remain anarchy.
Download it here: https://github.com/6b6t/AnarchyMod
AnarchyMod is our solution to the Mojang ban. It lets you - the player - choose whether you want to let Microsoft pick what servers you can join or not. The mod is fully open source, we have nothing to hide.
Why We Refuse to Comply
I, qbasty, the owner of 6b6t, did not build 6b6t for more than four years just to turn it into a normal Minecraft server.
6b6t started because anarchy needed a real server worth playing. A server with no queue. A server with no map resets. A server where players could actually join and play. A server where the owner cared.
Since then it has grown into the biggest anarchy servers in the world.
It is something I genuinely care about. Today I am responsible for 4 years of history, bases, player relationships, map arts and a massive community. A community that wants freedom.
This server exists for players who want that freedom.
6b6t will stay anarchy.
We fix problems by improving the server, not by adding rules and punishing players.

What Happens Next
6b6t is not shutting down.
We will keep the world online. We will keep updating the server. We will keep helping players connect.
More updates will be posted on our website and in the official Discord, Telegram and Reddit whenever something changes. Mojang might try to fight our resistance and we're ready. We won the first attack.
Our position is simple and will not change:
No gameplay rules.
No map reset.
No queue.
No surrender.
6b6t stays online. 6b6t stays anarchy. 6b6t will not break this promise.
