The rules of 2b2t

2b2t has rules since 2020. In 2023 the official list of rules was created on the 2b2t website, however those terms don't cover a list of other unofficial rules which have been found by the 2b2t players. For breaking these official and unofficial rules, you can get banned or muted from 2b2t. The addition of these rules is one if the reasons why so many players are moving to 6b6t. Today 6b6t gets 100+ players everyday.

Here are the rules of 2b2t:

1. Do not automate chat or private messages and don't spam or advertise.
2. Don't do anything that may have a negative impact on another player's experience on the server.
   Examples:
   • Making players unintentionally disconnect (Alt + F4, F3 + C, Kick/Crash Exploits, /leave)
   • Bed trapping
   • Lagging or crashing the server
   • Using an exploit similar to Log4J RCE to hack players' computers
   • Spreading malware
3. Don't harass, cyberbully, demean, offend, or threaten players through server chat, private messages, or external platforms. (e.g. Discord)
4. Don't share or threaten to share personal information of another player or yourself or make jokes about doxxing.
5. Don't discuss punishments or rules in-game or external platforms. (e.g. Discord)
6. Don't use alt accounts to evade any punishments.
7. Don't criticize the admins or claim they are spending priority queue money on cocaine.
8. Don't claim to be a player that has been punished or you will be punished for evading.
9. Don't connect to the server using a VPN. Using a VPN will get you punished for potentially being an alt.
10. Don't use a username/skin that breaks any rules or makes you seem like an alt. (e.g. Coke_Sniffer while using a Hausemaster skin)
11. Don't do anything illegal on the server.
12. Don't help anyone break these rules.

These rules have been found by the community inside the 2builders12rules Discord.

Here are the punishments for breaking these rules:

Kick: You get kicked by a moderator.
Soft Mute: Unable to send chat messages.
Hard Mute: Unable to send chat messages or private messages.
Prio Strip: Priority Queue gets removed and you get kicked.
Prio Ban: Priority Queue gets removed, you get kicked, and you can no longer purchase it.
Blacklist: The moderators will kick you if they notice you online (If you send or receive a PM they will get notified)

Tens of thousands of players are leaving 2b2t because of these rules, and the whole catastrophe was well documented by the YouTuber SalC1 in his video.

Introducing 6b6t

Since the downfall of 2b2t, many players are moving to 6b6t, which remains and will remain true anarchy with no rules. 6b6t supports both Java and Bedrock edition and you can join with the IP play.6b6t.org on Java edition and bedrock.6b6t.org with the port 19132 on Bedrock edition.
