The Rules of 2b2t in 2026: The Full List and the Punishments

2b2t has rules now. Its terms page lists five. Players found twelve more the hard way, by getting punished and telling each other what happened. Here are both lists, what each punishment does, and where to play if you want none of it.

Why does 2b2t have rules now?

On 19 December 2025, 2b2t changed its terms. It said the change was made "to comply with an official notice from Mojang / Microsoft". Nobody has ever seen that notice.

A chat filter came next. 2b2t has never announced it. Players say it gives you no warning. You type a message. It shows up on your screen like normal. Nobody else ever sees it. Private messages work the same way.

What does 2b2t actually write down?

More than most players think. Five things, on its terms page:

• You have to follow the Minecraft Usage Guidelines, the Minecraft Community Standards and the Xbox Community Standards. 2b2t points at Microsoft’s rulebook and makes it part of its own.
• No advertising, no spam, no bots typing for you.
• No harassment, threats or bullying, and the terms say “either in-game or an external community”. What you say on Discord counts.
• Nothing built around harmful ideas, hateful symbols or hate speech.
• Nothing that abuses an exploit or a bug to lag or disrupt the server.

The build rule is new. It came with the December change, and it is why builds get deleted now.

The same page writes down what happens to you. 2b2t can disable your chat or your access to the server, “temporarily or permanently, depending on the severity”. There is a reporting address as well. You send proof to [email protected], the way you would on any moderated server.

What are the twelve rules players documented?

None of these are on the terms page. Players collected them in a community called 2Builders12Rules, by writing down what people got punished for. They say themselves that the list is not complete and not official.

1. No advertising in chat.
2. No lagging or crashing the server, even by accident.
3. No mass kick exploits.
4. No ban exploits.
5. Do not insult Hausemaster, or bring up the old cocaine joke about him.
6. No spamming chat.
7. Duping items can cost you your priority queue.
8. Nothing against the rules in your username. Players got punished for "cocaine" and "coke".
9. No doxxing, and no threats to dox.
10. Do not use a second account to get around a priority ban.
11. Do not mention Walden. Nobody who wrote this rule down explains what it means.
12. Do not post the rules in chat, or talk about rules and punishments in game.

What happens if you break one?

• Soft mute. You cannot talk in public chat.
• Hard mute. You cannot talk in public chat or send private messages.
• PM mute. Your private messages are blocked. Public chat still works.
• Sign mute and death mute. What you write on signs, or your death messages, stop showing to other players.
• Prio strip. They take away your priority queue before the month you paid for ends. Priority costs $19.99 a month.
• Prio ban. They take it away, and the shop will not sell it to you again.
• Blacklist. The server kicks blacklisted accounts out of the queue or the game automatically, in waves. Players call it shadow banning.

Getting kicked costs more than it sounds. You go back to the end of the queue. Right now that is about two days in the queue.

Builds get deleted too. One player report from 2026 says more than twenty accounts lost their priority in a single night after a build was removed. Nobody got a refund. 2b2t has never commented on it. The players it happened to wrote it down, which is the only record 2b2t leaves.

Then where do you play with no rules?

6b6t is another anarchy server, and not the only one still running without rules. An anarchy server has no rules at all. Nothing you say gets filtered. Nothing you build gets deleted. Nobody is protected from anybody.

6b6t opened in January 2022. Its world has never been reset.

No rules. No lag. No queue. No punishments. No bans. No mutes.

Most days 200 to 300 players are online. The record is over 1,155 at the same time, set on 14 August 2026. Nobody was waiting in a queue.

How do you join 6b6t?

On Bedrock, add br.6b6t.org on port 19132. On Java you need AnarchyMod first, then join.6b6t.org.

Minecraft comes in two versions. Java runs on PC. Bedrock runs on phones, consoles and Windows. They cannot join the same servers.

On Bedrock, add br.6b6t.org on port 19132. That is all.

On Java there is one more step. Minecraft will not connect you to 6b6t. Mojang blocked the server on 15 July 2026 and never said why. 6b6t did not add rules, and the block is still there. A free mod called AnarchyMod removes it.

The mod is free and the code is public, so you can read it yourself. It never touches your account, your password or your login.

It changes three things in your own game. It stops Minecraft blocking the servers on Mojang's list. It puts 6b6t in your server list. And when you join, it sends 6b6t one empty message, so they can count how many players use the mod. That message is empty. You can check it in the code.

To install it: get Fabric Loader for your version of Minecraft, then put the mod file in your mods folder. That is it. It takes about a minute. Get it at 6b6t.org/mod.

The mod works back to Minecraft 1.9.4. But to join 6b6t you need version 1.21.11 or newer.
