The results of the 2024 Christmas Build Competition on 6b6t

One of the winning bases in the 6b6t competition

Hundreds of thousands of blocks were placed by the 6b6t players who created 8 unique bases. For them, players had 3 weeks to get ideas and build and as you will see, the final builds are amazing. The winners have been chosen and here are the results.

1st place - Winterhaven

Winterhaven, built just by one player Beasthunter3185, has been fully completed. It is set in the medieval times with a unique story. Beast believes that dwarves reside in the city, which ran away from Krampus because of a conflict. This explains the walls and the high position of the castle. Dwarves consider 25th December each year a holiday with the name "The Night of the Winterhaven's Founding", originating in German "Nacht der Gründung des Winterhaven".

While from far away the Christmas atmosphere isn't visible, near the buildings you can find many candy cones and the Christmas tree.

Each building and the castle has complete interiors with lights, bringing the warm times closer to us.

The city looks wonderful during all times of the year, during day and night.

2nd place - The Anarchist's Wonderland

Built by Theghooost85, Etienne200296, TheBanderlog, brunokumar12 and Tuckerman26322, their city has a completely different perspective on the Christmas build competition. In between the snowmans and candy cones, they lit the whole place extremely well.

Placed in the icy biomes, anarchy players came together to create this Christmas base. For Theghooost85, Christmas is a symbol of resistance and creativity.

While The Anarchist's Wonderland does not have a structure and extremely beautiful builds, it does have an insane Christmas atmosphere.

3rd place - Christmas Vale

The Christmas Vale is built by Myniany, CapyKing10 and Cat_345, representing the 6b6t group Iron Vale. Here is how they imaged the city functions during these snowy days:

In the snowy valley of Ironvale, life is tough, but the people are strong. At the center of their city stands the Everglow Tree, a giant magical fir that shines with a soft, golden light. The tree’s glow is more than just beautiful. it gives the people strength and warmth during the cold, harsh winters.

The city does have a bit of lonely energy, but in the center the tree warms everything up.

Conclusion

The 2024 Christmas Build Competition has been the best build competition 6b6t has seen so far. We are motivated to host another one quite soon, with completely new themes and even bigger rewards.
